Our public schools and the ecosystem of our educational foundations must represent the diversity of students from within our respective communities to include all racial, ethnic, and religious backgrounds. As the professional organization for education foundation leaders, NSFA commits itself to equity, and supports our public school system leadership who values justice and brings forth required change to encompass diversity and inclusion.
NSFA, as a support organization, recognizes we have much to learn about how racism perpetuates itself in our culture and how we become unwitting participants in a process which limits equitable opportunities and access to every student, faculty and staff member. We will ensure our own policies and practices, and the support we provide to foundation leaders reflect our dedication to the industry. Ultimately, NSFA will operate within a structure of best practices for the benefit of every student, faculty and staff member.
Together with foundation leaders across this nation, we will continue our critical effort to sustain and improve public education for all children in our school systems. Collectively we can and will enrich the lives of every student, every day.
Students in public schools across America have equitable access to outstanding educational opportunities through the work of our member education foundations.
Membership to NSFA provides you with access to the tools, resources and networking opportunities you need to grow and strengthen your foundation or knowledge of the education foundation industry.
NSFA is the industry's primary thought leader, convener, and advocate, providing support to preK-12 public education foundations through professional development, evidence-based best practices, and research in order to increase community investment in our nation’s students.
