| Chair Yoga & Discussion of Using Yoga in SchoolsWant to enjoy a quick yoga break with the time and space you have right NOW? Here is the class you’re looking for! Your YogaPro will guide you through posture, breathing, and meditation techniques that you can do easily at your desk. You will learn how to counter life’s demands on your back, shoulders, neck, eyes, wrists, and hips. There’s no need to change your clothes or move furniture; just follow along and you will feel the benefits. Beginners and seasoned yogis alike, this class is a fit for everyone. You will need: an upright chair. Before practice, please clear away clutter, take off your shoes, and silence alerts. Stay after the session for a guided discussion on using yoga in schools! |
About your YogaPro, Laura Chismudy:Laura Chismudy found her way to teaching yoga after experiencing injuries in pursuit of various physical activities, most notably recreational circus arts. She teaches yoga and meditation in domestic and international locations, to students of all ages (from 6-80) and abilities (beginner to expert). She prides herself in welcoming students in person and online by tailoring her classes to meet the needs of each class by soliciting requests. Her class is accessible, grounding, intentional, and fun! Laura has trained in many styles of yoga from Power Yoga to Chair Yoga, Buddhist Meditation, Anatomy, and Functional Movement. Laura looks forward to meeting you, virtually or in person, and sharing her love for the practice of yoga! |
